Call to Action

It’s nice to be important,
but It’s more important to be nice
If ever, a friend asks for help
Don’t ever make them ask twice

Lessons learned while growing up
Need we be reminded: respect for elders,
Honesty, kindness, and forgiveness
All need to be applied

We live in a dynamic World
That is changing everyday
Our conduct
Can help in every way
We need to help where we are needed

And serve along the way
To pay tribute to our branch services
Who serve so far away

We also need to stand up
And oppose the situation, when
Our Country isn’t where it began,

When Our Country's failing,
then Will you realize?
that now is the time to act
We can’t wait one, two, three more years
To get our Country Back . . .

Now is the time to open your ears
And realize what’s taking place
The Country my grandfather fought for
Is falling into disgrace

Truth be told, it’s up to you and me
After all, we still live in a democracy
Call your Senator, House, and Councilman

AND DEMAND OF THEM TO REPRESENT
THE PEOPLE, WHO ELECTED THEM TO OFFICE,
REMIND THEM THEY SERVE US
AND WITHOUT THEM THERE’S NO TRUST

THERE WAS A REVOLUTION 234 YEARS AGO
DUE TO TAXATION WITHOUT REPRESENTATION
WHERE DO WE STAND TODAY?

I ASK MYSELF AND PRAY.
