Corporate America

Give me a half hour in the evening,

and an hour before I wake.

The time to make a difference,

in the World where I create.

I have creative spirit,

but its tied to what I do.

Its not used in the job

that I’m appended too.

I’d love the chance to work

with the thoughts in my head,

but corporate America

has a different thought instead

I’d love to make a difference,

but I’m not allowed to try

Limited capacity for the ideas

in my mind.
