Dying Shores

Is there any difference

To be dying on the shores of 1944?

Or in a dessert, in a jungle,

Or on the shores of Byblos

Today we find our servants,

In all of these places . . .

Some clandestine,

So aware, some so concerned

They cared, For who?

For you and me . . .

To live our life in Freedom

Challenge not the cause

Praise the brave heroics

Of those who serve because . . .
