Yard with a Boulevard Tree

I loved you and you loved me

Then one day you got on one knee

You held my hand and asked

If you could marry me

I said yes and before I knew it

I was walking down the aisle with you

Then the preacher asked me, if I do

I said yes, we were free

With a home full of love

And yard with a boulevard tree

Then one day the Dr. said

Come in here and sit down my friends

I’ve got some news that you’ve been waiting for

We filled our house with baby stuff

I felt like I got as big as the house

We went to the hospital as one

And came home as three

We said yes, we were three

With a home full of love

And a yard with a boulevard tree

The time flew by with two babies

But we never lost track of you and me

We always wanted a family

And to make the house a home

Then one day the Dr. said

Come in here and sit down my friends

The twins are fine and

It’s time for a new baby boy

We said yes, we were free

With a home full of love

And a yard with a boulevard tree

The house was filled with baby stuff

We had made the house a home

With a nice backyard, and a backyard swing

And a front yard with a boulevard tree

A blizzard hit when the babe was due

You were stuck at the office

I was home with two

And we didn’t know what we should do

Our house was part of a neighborhood

Full of friends, it was all good

We helped each other in times of need

When the storm hit we needed a few good deeds

One came over to watch the twins

Another came over to take me in

You got to the hospital just in time

To see our brand new boy

We thanked God, joyfully

For a home full of love

And a yard with a boulevard tree

We watched with love as the three boys grew

So proud of them and the things they do

Little league practice and camping to

We never lost track of me and you

Our home filled with love from up above

We raised our boys with our Fathers love

We never lost track of you and me

We had been blessed with our family

We said yes, still young and free

With a home full of love

And a yard with a boulevard tree

Ah we thanked God, so joyfully

With a home full of love

And a yard with a boulevard tree
